We were as excited about the new 240 Wildcat as you were, so we got a couple to play with and to R&D a few kits and upgrades for you! This kit is all you need to have a safe 7000+ RPM capable 240 Wildcat. It comes with a billet rod, a timing advance key and a standard high output coil to replace the stock rev limited coil. We also include the side cover and head gaskets you will need to complete the job
We offer this kit in 2 configurations:
The Drop-In kit comes with an EC Pinnacle 3.303 Forged Rod that will leave the piston .020 below deck height. We give you a thinner .018 MLS Head Gasket to help make up for the loss in compression.
The Builder kit comes with an ARC 3.323 Billet Rod that will give you a deck height piston and a Fire Ring Head Gasket. The block will require a little clearance work in one spot where ARC"s "Forced" oil dipper gets into the block as seen in 3rd pic.
