This crankshaft is machined from a solid bar of 4140 steel and will give you .175" more stroke than the stock Honda/Clone 196cc crankshaft (.136" longer in a Predator 212) with far superior strength. This is the strongest material used for a small engine crank.
These cranks use a 1" Journal and require connecting rod #6265 (drop-in) or #6765 and a Wiseco Piston.
- Crank and required connecting rods are clearanced for most cam applications but some additional machining may be required with high lift/high duration cams.
- Crank is designed to be used with a Honda GX200/Clone 196cc flywheel taper. (Predator flywheels WILL NOT work)
- You must use flywheel key number included with the crank, or our offset key 8-KEY-STROKER. (Standard GX or Clone keys will not work)
- If using #6765 rod, Top of piston will need to be machined approx. .100”. Use only 2 ring pistons! NR Racing offers 2.756 and 2.815 Pistons already machined. (WARNING: Do Not machine the top of the 3 ring pistons).
- If #6265 rod, either 3 ring or 2 ring pistons can be used.
- Outer 3rd / 4th bearing supports highly recommended
- Pistons larger than 2.815 will require balancing
