Our entry level Racing Engine with a few extra CC's! Awesome choice for minibikes or backyard karts looking for a little more power & speed over their buddy's stock Predator 224! You can expect about 10hp and 5500RPM. Stock Ducar / Tillotson 212E Flywheels are tested to 10k RPM (IN VERY SHORT INTERVALS). Any additional upgrades or modification should begin with a performance flywheel.
These engines arrive to us as "long blocks" without flywheels or throttle linkage. We add those, as well as 18# springs and an 8* timing advance key. The heads are removed to lap in the valves by hand to achieve a proper seal. We then replace the .045 thick head gasket with an .010 thick head gasket for a quick and cheap bump in compression. The factory carburetors are jetted to our spec and air filter adapters are installed. Just choose your pipe & air filter to complete your engine.
