EC Banzai 265 Cam Kit for the Predator 224, Wildcat 236, and other engines with 58/59mm crankshaft. Also, it fits Honda, Clone, Tillotson, and Predator 212 Hemi Engines.
The Banzai 265 has been updated to use a 224 core, which allows the cam to be installed in the Predator 224, Wildcat 223, our 236R, and other engines that use the 58/59 Crankshafts.
The 224 has a narrower compression release to clear the crankshaft's counterweights. The 224 core is still useable on the typical Honda/Clone-based engines except for the Predator 212 non-hemi, which has a different journal size inside the crankcase. The New Banzai makes an easy upgrade for those preparing to stroke their 212 engine without needing to make clearance for the cam's compression release or the crankshaft.
The general range of this camshaft is 3500-7000rpms with peak torque around 4500-5400, depending on engine displacement, modifications, and tuning. Peak horsepower is around 6500-7500rpms on short track, sprint karting, and mini bikes. The camshaft is used in our stage 3 kits and pairs well with our SK201 flywheel and WC22 carburetors.

Due to the various lengths on different brands of engines, new tappets are no longer included with the camshaft. We highly recommend using new tappets when installing a new camshaft.
