It is extremely important that your engine have adequate crankcase ventilation. Otherwise oil seals or gaskets will fail due to excessive crankcase pressure.
The enclosed nipples are used for venting and a fuel pump pulse. If a fuel pump is not used, connect one nipple to a catch can or small filter and use plug to seal extra hole.
If a fuel pump is needed, connect one nipple to a fuel pump and the second to a vent or catch can. On some highly modified engines, both block and Valve Cover venting may be needed.
